Celebrating Global Connections in the Heart of Texas

The Center for Global Business (CGB) brought together its community for an evening of appreciation and networking at the annual Celebration and Appreciation Dinner on April 18th. The event, held in the beautiful McCombs Legacy Room, welcomed advisory board members, distinguished guests, international business students, and alumni.

It was an opportunity for the CGB to express gratitude to current supporters while forging new connections with recent graduates returning to campus. Alumni reminisced about their days as students while gaining insights into the latest developments on campus. Current students networked with seasoned global business leaders receiving invaluable advice for entering the global workforce.

CGB Board of Advisors Chair Raj Mahale highlighted the center’s recent accomplishments, including growth in international business enrollment, enhanced student services, study abroad opportunities, and support available to students, emphasizing that building a strong community around global connections remains the center’s top priority. Guests were treated to an exhilarating performance, by UT student dance group Nritya Sangam.
