Center for Global Business Welcomes Industry Veteran Bill Leasure to Board of Advisors
The Center for Global Business is proud to welcome Bill Leasure to its Board of Advisors. Leasure brings decades of expertise in technology entrepreneurship, international strategy, and corporate leadership to the role.
His career includes executive positions at Intel, Motorola, and Dell, as well as leadership roles in entrepreneurial ventures, characterized by a focus on innovation and global strategy.
“Bill is a fantastic resource for the CGB Board,” said Center Director Deirdre Mendez. “His experience across global markets and his deep knowledge of the tech industry bring valuable new dimensions to our board. It’s been a pleasure to get to know such a proud and accomplished alumnus.”
Leasure’s international background includes leadership at Intel’s European headquarters in Munich and early service as a trade specialist for Africa in Washington, D.C. A dedicated supporter of global education, he studied at the Sorbonne and ENA in Paris and has consistently supported and mentored students at UT.
“I’m honored to return to the most productive 40 acres in America,” said Leasure. “Combining my passion for international business with a commitment to preparing Longhorns for global challenges is a privilege. I’m excited to support CGB’s mission.”
