Ananya Vegesna, a senior majoring in International Business, with a minor in Risk Management, is one such student whose academic journey was significantly shaped by her study abroad experience in Copenhagen.
From the start of her college career, Ananya had a clear vision of pursuing International Business. When she learned about the study abroad opportunities offered by the Center for Global Business, she immediately recognized the value they could add to her academic and professional goals. After considering various options, Ananya chose the Copenhagen program, which aligned perfectly with her coursework and interests.
Her time in Copenhagen proved transformative, offering valuable insights into how cultural values and regional priorities shape business practices. Ananya’s international business project, focused on Scandinavian brand expansion, allowed her to apply lessons from courses she had taken at McCombs. She also gained a deeper understanding of cultural sensitivity, consumer behavior, and market strategies in a global context.
