On September 13, U.S. News & World Report announced its 2022 rankings for the Best Undergraduate International Business Programs.

Those who have been watching the International Business program at McCombs grow in recent years were not surprised — McCombs IB Program was ranked #10, alongside schools like Georgetown, the University of Pennsylvania, and New York University.

Rankings of undergraduate business programs in a specialty area — such as International Business — are based solely on the peer assessment survey conducted in spring and summer 2021. And while schools do not need to have a listed major in the area to be ranked, McCombs has offered its International Business major for more than 50 years, in addition to offering multiple IB courses each term. In recent years, the addition of an International Business Skills minor and a Global Management minor have expanded the opportunities at McCombs for those interested in getting ready for global business.

Of course, it’s also likely that additional efforts to raise the profile of IB at McCombs by the Center for Global Business — including the Global Shift Dialogues series — contributed to the heightened reputation of the International Business program. A reinvigoration of the Center’s Board, its website, and its student support were also likely contributors to the heightened impression of peers who were surveyed.

Please join the Center for Global Business and the International Business program at McCombs as we celebrate this recognition, and as we push ahead to the next milestone!
