UK Texas Exes: Global Alumni Giving Back

UT’s global alumni are a fantastic resource for CGB’s programs and students. As businesspeople living and working abroad, they’re experts at meeting the demands of business in the global environment, with firsthand experience of international business trends and cultures.

CGB is therefore delighted to announce a collaboration with the UK Texas Exes, UT’s largest alumni association abroad. This active group of UT graduates hosts regular events, offers scholarships for UT students studying in the UK, and has pledged support for CGB programs, faculty, and students. A number of new initiatives are underway:

· Connections for Faculty: The group has extended an offer to host networking events for UT faculty traveling to London where they can meet UK alumni and share information about their research.

· Mentorship for Students: Members of UKTE will serve as mentors for International Business minors from across the university to help students from all majors envision a global future.

· Student Welcomes: With a significant number of UT students choosing London as their study abroad destination, CGB greatly appreciates UKTE’s offer to host networking sessions for student groups, and to welcome students and help them acclimate to the city upon their arrival.

We’re grateful and excited to be working with this energetic and knowledgeable group of alumni and hope there will be more initiatives to come!
