Welcome to the Class of 2027!

The Center for Global Business is happy to join the McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas at Austin in welcoming the Class of 2027.

This year’s entering class hails from 161 countries, and are more globally-minded than ever:

• Growing up in a world of smartphones, a majority of today’s students have never known borders as a barrier to learning
• They started school with Barack Obama’s first term as president, and came of age during Brexit, the Charlie Hebdo attacks, the Trump presidency, and global protests about gender equality
• Typical teenage experiences like learning to drive and graduating from high school were fundamentally altered by the first global pandemic in generation.

Like all the faculty, staff, and continuing students at UT Austin, we’re looking forward to helping these students make the most of their time here and onward to a successful futures because — as we all know — what starts here changes the world.
