Finance major and International Business minor Riddhi Goel studied in Copenhagen last summer. Facilitating transformative global experiences like the study abroad journey she completed is an important aspect of CGB’s mission, and we’re delighted to welcome Riddhi as our new student intern.

CGB Intern, Riddhi Goel

My study abroad experience in Copenhagen was more than just an adventure — it was a stepping stone towards a global career. Living independently in a foreign country cultivated a newfound confidence that has propelled me forward in my academic and professional pursuits.

The experience of thriving in an unfamiliar environment has given me the confidence to take on new challenges, from pursuing leadership roles to tackling competitive internships. Immersing myself in Danish culture provided invaluable insights into different work ethics and lifestyles. Observing the relaxed yet productive approach to work-life balance broadened my perspective on professional environments.

Academically, I gained exposure to diverse teaching methods. The emphasis on independent learning and final exams at Copenhagen Business School fostered self-discipline and comprehensive understanding — skills crucial for any global professional.

My time abroad ignited a passion for international business, leading me to add an International Business minor and pursue an internship at CGB. For those aiming for a global career, study abroad is invaluable. It develops adaptability, cultural awareness, and independence — essential traits for success in the international business arena.
